When I saw the title, I guessed it was more far left nonsense by this author. He's predictable.

No, the right is not even fascist, much left Nazi. The Capitol riot - the best thing to happen for the left in decades - was carried out by a small number of people , most of whom indeed are on the right. It was not condoned, not celebrated, but rather condemned by the rest of the right.

If you want to see fascism, look left. Look at Antifa, which is still rioting, even after the hated Trump is gone. Antifa is an organization dedicated to the destruction of capitalism and the US government, and it does it through planned violence.

Antifa exists in many cities. Antifa has many forms, form demonstrators, to "direct action" (violence) formations. I photographed and interviewed Antifa members here in Phoenix, including their heavily armed, militia dressed Redneck Revolt axiliary. Shortly afterwards, Antifa attacked the police. Antifa fomented a riot in downtown Scottsdale that turned into an orgy of looting lasting several hours.

They harrassed and threatened motorists in the little town of Paradise Valley, Arizona.

And that's just in relatively conservative Arizona. They have been rioting in Portland for years. Rose City Antifa (RCA), the oldest Antifa group in the US, has been active for well over a decade. RCA have repeatedly attacked businesses and government buildings in downtown Portland. The left wing district attorney has refused to prosecute, and the police are not even allowed to use tear gas. RCA put journalist Andy Ngo in the hospital with a brain bleed (read his excellent book on Antifa). They repeatedly harrassed a Republican candidate (whom I know well), threatening not only the candidate but the family, to rape the small kids. They repeatedly attack federal buildings, clear acts of insurrection.

Antifa set up "autonomous zones" where they used force to prevent any law enforcement from entering, clear acts of sedition. In the Seattle zone, several people were murdered, and emergency medical responders was prevented from entering. They extorted protection money from businesses in the 3 block zone, and terrorized residents.

Antifa, unike the right in America, does not believe in freedom. Rather, they specifically target free speech (and the speakers) if they don't like the message. They have used violence and credible threats of violence to prevent conservative speakers at many venues.

Antifa are the true fascists, ironic since Antifa started as a true anti-fascist movement in Europe. But in the US, they are anarcho-communist, well funded by misinformed liberals, and very violent.

Most Americans don't know the true nature of Antifa. The media excuses their excesses, calling riots "mostly peaceful demonstratiosn." The media hides Antifa's involvement, and Antifa doctrine helps with that - their tactic is to start violence, and then hide behind less radical demonstrators whmo they egg on.

In Portland, the police are not allowed to interfere in any way with self-identified journalists, so Antifa sometimes dons clothing marked "Press." The mainstream media, indoctrinated in leftist universities, cannot process the idea of an organized, violent revolutionary left-wing movement.
