Unrepentant may apply to the fate of that person's soul, but not to that persons' utility in achieving good.
I don't care if Trump repents, as long as he produces good results. For most of his presidency, he did that. It is not hypocritical to support someone who, overall, improves good in the world and reduces evil - even if that person is an unrepentant liar, cheat or otherwise, sinner.
I have evangelical friends who disagree with me. They are entitled to their opinion. But they are wrong, unless they are also complete pacifists, and limit their participation in the economy to purchasing from, and working for people who are perfect.
