Terrible mischaracterization. The Trump administration used Operation Warp Speed to accelerate the virus during a time Democrats would have still been fighting about the ethnic and sexual preference makeup of the team. Trump used the military to handle logistics, something Democrats would never have thought of since they hold the military in such disregard.

When Democratic governors and mayors were calling it racist to ban travel from China, and while Congress was impeaching Trump on imagined charges that came from a Democrat operative, Trump had already formed a Coronavirus task force.

Republicans made some mistakes later on - Trump should have had stronger messaging on the Trump Vaccine. But the US was way ahead of other countries in vaccinatino because of Trump's efforts.
