So many Americans want to "make changes" to "save the climate" from the "climate crisis."

But, we can make drastic changes in the US and it will make very little difference - becausee the US has only around 5% of the US population, and because we are not the biggest producer of CO2 - that title goes to China.

Good luck getting China to actually reduce CO2.

Also, this is not a crisis - nothing is happening suddenly. And, while it is solid science that adding CO2 will somewhat increase the temperature, the amount it will increase is not settled. So far, all but one of the models have grossly over-estimated the temperature rise to this date.

So don't ruin the economy of the US and the lives of Americans only to empower the totalitarian dictatorship of China. And good luck preaching about a "climate crisis" to the poor around the world, who live in energy poverty and need truly affordable energy.

China is actually working hard on the problem. They recognize it and are therefore massively investing in solar, wind, nuclear and electric-everything.
In fact, all people around the world recognize the problem ... except a subset here in the U.S., who are in deep denial.
