Far Left Fascists — Antifa
The left frequently characterizes the right in America as fascists, or even Nazi’s. They are projecting.
If you want to see fascism, look left. Look at Antifa, which is still rioting, even after the hated Trump is gone. Antifa is an organization dedicated to the destruction of capitalism and the US government, and it does it through planned violence.
Antifa exists in many cities. Antifa has many forms, from demonstrators, to “direct action” (violence) formations. They have auxiliaries such as left wing “legal observers” (lawyers), medical, food and supply auxiliaries.
Antifa are the true fascists, ironic since Antifa started as a genuine anti-fascist movement in Europe. But in the US, they are anarcho-communist, well funded by misinformed liberals, and very violent. They seek to impose, through violence if necessary, their radical ideas on the rest of us. They actively suppress free speech.
Most Americans don’t know the true nature of Antifa. The media excuses their excesses, calling riots “mostly peaceful demonstrations.” Leaders, including our new Vice President, have arranged bail for the violent “demonstrators” and looters. The media under-reports Antifa’s involvement, and Antifa doctrine helps with that — their tactic is to attack police, and then hide behind less radical demonstrators whom they egg on. Media sees tear gas apparently fired at peaceful protestors, but actually at the Antifa farther back. The police, many of whom have been injured, are attacked with hard projectiles (frozen water bottles, bricks, etc), incendiaries including Molotov Cocktails, eyesight damaging powerful lasers, commercial sized fireworks and other explosives, clubs, and other weapons.
I photographed and interviewed Antifa members here in Phoenix, including their “blac bloc” clothed demonstrators/rioters, the heavily armed, militia dressed Redneck Revolt auxiliary, and the “legal observers”. Antifa fomented a riot in downtown Scottsdale that turned into an orgy of looting lasting several hours.
They harrassed and threatened motorists in the little town of Paradise Valley, Arizona.
And that’s just in relatively conservative Arizona. They have been rioting in Portland for years. Rose City Antifa (RCA), the oldest Antifa group in the US, has been active for well over a decade. RCA have repeatedly attacked and burned businesses and government buildings in Portland. The left wing district attorney has refused to prosecute most offenses, and the police are not even allowed to use tear gas. Housing values have plummeted, and businesses have been destroyed.
RCA “direct action” thugs put journalist Andy Ngo in the hospital with a brain bleed (read his excellent book on Antifa). They repeatedly harrassed a Republican candidate (whom I know well), threatening not only the candidate but the family, to rape the small kids. They repeatedly attack federal buildings, clear acts of insurrection.
Antifa set up “autonomous zones” where they used force to prevent any law enforcement from entering, clear acts of sedition. In the Seattle zone, several people were murdered, but emergency medical responders was prevented from entering. Antifa extorted protection money from businesses in the three city block zone, and terrorized residents.
Antifa, unike the right in America, does not believe in freedom. Rather, they specifically target free speech (and the speakers) if they don’t like the message. They have used violence and credible threats of violence to prevent conservative speakers at many venues.
In Portland, the police are not allowed to interfere in any way with self-identified journalists, so Antifa sometimes dons clothing marked “Press.” The mainstream media, indoctrinated in leftist universities, cannot process the idea of an organized, violent revolutionary left-wing movement.
