CNN was founded by a radical leftist, and over the years moved in that direction. Over the Trump years it lost a lot of viewership compared to other outlets, because it was extremely biased and, basically, not worth watching except for leftists who wanted their viewpoint validated.

A move towards the middle (not "far right" which is the term normally applied to those who are the same conservatives that used to just be the "right") would be a good business move, and good for the viewership.

Trump's election drove the generally left wing news personnel instant For example, the Washington Post would have multiple stories a day, all bashing Trump and all about the same thing - some in the editorial section and some in the news section, but you couldn't tell them apart.

In other words, a liberal outlet became radical left. CNN ditto.

So restoring some balance would be nice.
