A very interesting article, but marred by the off-topic last sentence: “This is what happens when the truth is replaced with the opinions and fantasies of a lunatic — this is what could very well happen to the U.S. this November.”

No doubt, you are referring to the end of the world if Republicans get power. Because every “woke” person knows that Republicans are fascist, in Putin’s pocket, and want a dictatorship. [/sarcasm]

But maybe not - maybe you don’t have that bizarre fantasy.

You could be referring to how our democracy will turn fascist if the lefts remain in power. That would be more sensible.

After all, the Democrats are hell bent on destroying parts of our system that keep our Democracy safe. They hate the American system so much they try every means to subvert it. They want to pack and politicize the Supreme Court. They want to end the filibuster (not a constitutional safeguard, but a procedural one that has been very important). They use their allies in the media and Big Tech to censor conservatives and anyone else who questions the tenets of their secular religion.

They have even sent the FBI after parents who dare to question the far left orthodoxy taking over their children’ educations. They use the power of the state to take children from their parents if the parents dare to provide therapy for children confused about their sexuality - unless that therapy is designed to affirm an alternative sexuality. It is typical of totalitarian regimes to punish parents for thought crimes, and to take away their children.

They do their best to remove religion from public life, and to limit private expression. The oppose religious schools, in fact, any school outside the states’ desired monopoly on education. They try to force the faithful to violate their religion.

Their failure to enforce our borders shows a lack of respect for our nation - every nation, throughout history, has sought control of its territory. But not the US today (and not some in Europe who are in thrall to the same secular religion).

They are no longer the party of the worker - they are the party of the rich, the bureaucrats, and the indolent. This is why they despise plumbers and carpenters who, as a result, are shifting to the Republican Party, while the rich and the big corporations are now strong supporters of the Democrats (who still pretend to be the party of the “working man”).

They are racist and sexist, assigning value to people based on their race, their ethnicity, their sex, their sexual preference. This is both a tenet of their social Marxist religion, and a tactic to divide us and control us. This is why Hispanics and African Americans have started to shift to the Republican Party.

So yes, this election does have dangerous possibilities.
